The Peat Bog Fair Isle - ON SALE
In 1951 a mans body was found preserved in the peat bog in the Island of Fair Isle.He was wearing knitted fair isle patterned garments and had a purse with coins dated back to 1681. This discovery proved how old fair isle knitting was - hence the name of this design. See our collection of four styles in four colourways and all at great sale prices.
