SKARA BRAE NEOLITHIC
This unusual produce box provides a taste of the diet of what the villagers of Skara Brae - Orkneys neolithic stone age village situated in Orkney on the shores of Skaill. The people of Skara Brae bred their own cows and sheep and grew their own cereals. Shellfish was also harvested which was then stored in custom built stone tanks within their house.
