Judith was born and bred in the Orkney Islands and has been in business for 35 years and started when she was 18yrs old. She moved into her large shop opposite St Magnus Cathedral in the centre of Kirkwall in 1979.
She is a knitwear designer and her collection is made in the Islands by her skilled workforce of outworkers and then finished in the workshop situated behind her shop.
There is something for all ages in Judiths Orkney shop, many customers call it " an aladdins cave " and she works hard to find unique and unusual products that change throughout the seasons that her simply just customers love !
In the summertime you can often enjoy live music with youngsters busking outside and free Orkney food tastings on offer.
