Deerness Distillery's special edition 70cl Scuttled Gin has been created to mark the centenary of the scuttling of the WWI German High Seas Fleet in Scapa Flow in Orkney on 21st June 1919.
Scuttled Gin is juniper led, followed by a spicy lemon cassia bark with peppery middle notes, and a smooth lavender mint finish to cleanse the palate.
Made by husband and wife team Stuart and Adele Brown who turned their hobby into reality and moved from Australia to live the dream in Orkney! They now very successfully produce local Sea Glass Gin and also Into The Wild Vodka in their small distillery.
The Distillery is situated in the local parish of Deerness on the East Mainland of Orkney's main Island.
