Orkney Knitwear - Runic Design
Judith first designed the Orkney Runic pattern in the 1980's and was one of her very first knitwear designs. Still going strong the runic pattern reads " Orkney " written in Viking Runes - a type of Viking Graffiti! Found in the Neolithic Tomb of Maeshowe in the West Mainland of Orkney.
Tankerness House Museum has one of Judith's Runic sweaters in their collection in Kirkwall.
