The Saltings at the sparse settlement of Seilebost on the Isle of Harris. A sward of green turf and sedge beneath the flat light and dark green sky of the Hebrides. This unique habitat can be seen in bays or at the heads of sea lochs around the Western Isles, is regularly inundated by seawater, and has a look like no other with mosaics of land, brackish streams and isolated pools.
