Beautiful hand made trivet features one of Orkney's most iconic sites- the ring of brodgar with a night sky background. This flat trivet is ideal to sit a teapot on, or perhaps for serving an individual portion of cheese and oatcakes.This Orkney design has been hand painted and made exclusively for Judith Glue. The trivet itself is made by Highland Stoneware who are based in Lochinver and Ullapool. Each peice of highland stoneware is carefully modelled, assembled and finished by hand before its initial 'bisque' firing up to 1000c.The pottery is then dipped in to a base glaze before being skilfully hand painted and signed by the workshop artists.
