Her description of this design is ''Ingibiorg is the fairest of maidens' carved one lovesick Viking, sheltering inside Maeshowe, on his way to the crusades. Her beauty is captured forever in his elegant runes. Visitors gaze in wonder at the words of a poet, the work of an artist.'
