Judith was born and bred in the Orkney Islands and started out when she was 18. You can read about Judith on this link of follow her blog on starting your own business. Judith moved to her large shop (2,200sq ft ) opposite St. Magnus Cathedral in the centre of Kirkwall in 1979. She is a knitwear designer and her Orkney Knitwear collection is made locally in the Islands by her small band of skilled knitters and finishers and the final touches are done in the workshop by Cathy which is situated behind the shop and her Real Food Cafe
There is something for all ages in the shop, many customers call it 'An Aladdin's Cave' and Judith loves to find unique and unusual products that our customers simply just love!
We represent many small local crafters and makers and are always looking for new products especially environmentally friendly and ethical gifts and clothing. Please get in touch with Judith at info@judithglue.com if you would like to become one of our makers.
