This puffin stick pin was made by Ola Gorie. Ola Gorie is one of Orkney's famous jewellery designers. Ola's shop is just a few doors down from us in Orkney! This stick pin is sterling silver and measures approximately 5.5cm.
"Tammie Norrie" is the Orkney name for a Puffin. Tammie Norries or Puffins visit our islands each year coming into nest in April and May and flying away at the end of July. These elusive little characters can be hard to spot, nesting precariously along our cliff edges, only the bravest twitchers catch a glimpse!
