St Magnus Cathedral plaster of Paris relief hanging plate. An original souvenir plate from the 1950 s designed and manufactured for J Tait Jewellery , Stromness in Orkney, which is imprinted on the reverse of this plate.
This is a relief design so the Cathedral is raised and cast in Plaster from a mould. It has been hand painted once cast and as you can see has some blemishes, in the paint work.
Size 20cm diameter
Depth 4cm and 6cm including the relief design
Has metal hanger embedded on reverse.
